Yusuf Dursun, a Turkish Writer & Poet, born in Yozgat Musabeyli in 1949. He graduated from Yozgat Teacher Training School in 1968, Erzurum Education Institute Turkish Department in 1971, and Anadolu University Undergraduate Completion Program in 1991. He retired from Elazığ Mehmet Akif Ersoy High School Turkish Language and Literature teacher in 1996. He is currently teaching at a private education institution in Istanbul. He is married with four children. The author, who has many awards in the field of poetry, has composed some of his poems, especially "The Orphan Girl". The poems, stories and tales of Yusuf Dursun, winner of the 2009 Eskader (Literature Art Culture Research Association) Children's Literature Award, have been published in various literature and culture-art magazines since 1984.
