Group of Companies based in Beirut (2003-2012), and the Ex- Managing Director of Wedge Group Europe (1992-2003) based in Paris. Before moving to France in 1992, he was working in the USA for seven years in real estate development and as consultant to the BECHTEL GROUP in San Francisco reporting directly to the president of BECHTEL CIVIL Inc. Between 1974-1985, he was working for the SOGEX GROUP, an engineering construction company headquartered in Paris. Nasser who graduated from the AUB as architect in 1968, worked in Kuwait from 1969-1974 where he took among other projects the challenge to design two cities for the rehabilitation of Bedouins namely, Al Jahra and Al Ardiah. This challenging experience encouraged him to come back to the AUB where he became the first graduate of the Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Urban Design Program 1979. Through his extensive experience over fifty years, Nasser has overseen a variety of large-scale architecture, construction, real estate and planning projects in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, UAE, Europe, the USA and beyond. It is worth noting that throughout his long career in the engineering and construction industry, he remained an avid reader of literature and a lover of the arts. He has just finished this book: Min Zaman Al Mualem about his grandfather’s (Nasser Jeryes ISSA) poetry, and is working at present on another book covering art in Lebanon.
